I am sorry for your loss. I have been trying to find Paul and just found out he had passed away. It breaks my heart to have let the years go by without any contact. We both were too stubborn individuals and involved with out own lives. I am sorry and I just don't know what else to do. I love you my dear brother. Your sister

Laurie and family
My apologies for signing this guest book so late, I guess I was just hoping that the right words would come and I'm not sure they did. What can I say when we loose such a great person as Paul. Paul and I grew up together. I met him at Ben Lomond High School we became best friends. Numerous nights were spent at my house or his recording records onto tape. Paul and I also worked together at Radio Shack. We remained close over the past 40+ years but I have to admit that time got away from me. I can no longer plan on calling Paul for lunch and the reality of his passing has set in. I have numerous stories, photos and memorabilia of our childhood it you and his children would like to know more. I have lost two of the six of our closeest high school group and it never gets easier. Paul was instrumental in my life.

My thoughts and prayers are with Tracy, Erik, Jenny and Lori. He loved you all so much and spoke often of you to me. He loved his grandkids and spoke of them with pride as well. He was so proud and touched when you all came over and helped him with the yard on his birthday this year. You could hear it in his voice. I worked with Paul through Qwest and feel very blessed and " priviledged" to havehad him in my life. He was so thoughtful, loving and caring. What a wonderful man. Although I had known him for only 7 years, he became an important part of my life just as he has touched so many lives. I will miss him greatly.

We never met Paul but we know how much his son Erik looked up to and admired him. Our deepest sympathy to the Hales family and may God comfort you in this terrible time and carry you through. There are sometimes no words of comfort that can be spoken but only time itself lends small relief although the memories never fade. May the legacy he left continue on forever. Love, Toby and Sher (Tawny's brother and his wife)

I am so sad to hear about Paul. I thought he was the greatest person—always willing to lend a hand or an ear. He was one of the most friendly, kind, and thoughtful person’s I know. Just last week I considered calling him and catching up and then I never found the time. I will always regret we didn’t have one last talk.

Paul made my life at Unisys so much easier and I could always count on him to help me. Yet, Paul was more than just a co-worker to me. He was my friend. He helped me when I moved to California and we kept in contact after my move. He brightened my life, and I consider it an honor to have been his friend. I will truly miss him.

My condolences to Paul’s family and friends. I was deeply saddened to here of his passing. I first met Paul in the early 70’s at then Sperry Univac. We worked together until the mid 90’s when I left the company. During that time we became friends. We frequently went out to lunch together. Among other things, he helped me repair my cars and I helped him build a garage. We shared a love of cars and spent a lot of time discussing them. The last time I saw Paul, just before he retired from Unisys, we talked about cars we have each owned and currently own. He will be missed my many.

I am sorry to hear about Paul's passing away. He was a nice guy, I worked with him when I first started working at Sperry in 1985 and worked with him off and on over the years on various little projects at Unisys. He always did what he could to help us get our work done in the most efficient and organized way possible - plus he did it with a smile and a wonderful sense of humor.

My sympathies to all the family of Paul. I am deeply saddened by Paul's death. I had the privilage of working with Paul for a short time before he retired but kept in touch and visited when ever I was in SLC. It was always great to see the progress on the house as time went by.
He was a great colleague and I was still conferring with him on phone stuff long after he had left.
I know he will be missed very much by all the family and the dogs.
He was one of the good ones.

Paul, you will be sorely missed my friend. I hold dear the years we worked together; the closeness in age gave us many ideals and feelings similar which drew us together; the sharing of war stories and giggles. “How ‘bout those days?!?” We will meet again ~ and reflect :o)
Rest in peace, my Brother...
