Paul was my father and a man known and loved by so many people. I write this 6 years after his passing still missing him immensely to this day. There is just such an absence without this man. Growing up we would go to drive-in movies in his old El Camino and throw all the pillows we could in the back and eat pizza! Every exciting vacation destination a kid could be excited about, he'd plan ahead for and we'd go. He was a hard worker often picking up as many hours as he could to provide a good and stable life for us. My love for movies and music came from this man and I'm grateful for this! I miss his big heart and his weirdness. He just had a way making life fun. As years went on and you watch the strength of your father pushing through the hardest times life can throw at you, I suppose you just get so use to watching that person overcome hardships. Him leaving this world was something that I was truly not ready for and I believe came as such a surprise to me. Like I say before, it's been 6 years and I still miss this man so much! I was lucky to have seen him build a good relationship with his grandson...my son Wyatt. He really enjoyed being a grandfather! It was amazing to see that unconditional love there between grandfather and grandson. Sorry it has taken me this long to write this dad. I love you and miss you.
Love, Callie

Sad to hear of Paul's passing

10-15-15 I just heard about you from an old time friend of yours. I am so thankful he had come to my shop to tell me.Oh my gosh!! It has been years since Paul and I talked. I am an old time friend of Paul, and was lucky enough to meet his cute daughter Cali. I had wondered for some time if Paul was in the area or had moved far away. I had hoped to hear from him again, but that never happened. We had a lot of laughs over the years and fun going to Lagoon with the my daughter. Paul loved being a dad to her, wanting to buy her everything. He had many challenges with life. Paul was an excellent barber and loved doing hair, following in his father's foot steps. He often spoke of his father and mom coming from the old country "Greece" and his dad Tony's called "Neat Barber Shop". Paul influenced me to complete Barber college at The Academy of Barber Sciences, and I worked together at Mediterranean Hair Salon and A Man's Image as managers. Paul worked as a Taxi operator for Ute Cab briefly and loved all kinds of sports. He never got enough. I will never forget the sweet person he was. Generous to a fault, and always wheeling and dealing with those who would participate in his agenda. Dancing at the clubs and the fun nights. The rest not mentioned is history. Paul, you will be missed beyond measure. I wish I could have got a chance to see you again. You will always be loved. My hope is that Cali is doing well and will know she is loved. Take care little gal.
