I am deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Milligan's passing. He did my muscle transplant surgery when I was 5 years old. Without him, I would have had a difficult life.

He knew exactly what to do to make it so that I could walk at an early age and made sure physical therapy was something that I did on a regular basis.

It was a pleasure to be his patient. :) I remember being so excited to go visit him. He chatted with me like I was a smart little adult! He was fun and truly had a love for people!

When he told me that he was moving to work with other children, I knew they would be blessed with the best doctor there was!

My prayers are with his family. He will be missed...

I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Milligan. He was my 3rd grade sunday school teacher, and I have thought of him often throughout the years. He taught me about being a "lupin" (leaving things better than the way you found them) and I now share with my own children the same story he told me so many years ago. He definitely left a lasting impression on me. I'm in my 40's now and still have very vivid memories of him and his class. I'll never forget him.

Dr. Milligan was my doctor for 11 years. He did a muscle transplant on me when I was paralyzed from a shot needle hitting my siatic nerve. He was one of the most loving and caring men I have ever known. My prayers go out to his family and friends at this time. May you feel the Saviors comforting arms around you.
Thank you for letting him share his skills and time with me.

I appreciate Paul Milligan as a mentor while I was a resident in training at the LDS Hospital. He was very caring and a good teacher. I was also privileged come into his and Carol's home a few times and found graciousness. May the Lord's choicest blessings be with Carol and the family.

I am so sorry to hear about Paul's death. My friend Shab Levy and I had a wonderful time visiting with Paul and Carol during the ISU Congress in Lindau many years ago. Paul's stereo imagery and his generosity to those interested in learning how to take stereo pictures was greatly appreciated. I remember his disappointment when he could not attend the NSA convention in Portland, Oregon in 2004, the year we had opened the 3D Center of Art and Photography in Portland. Now we are starting our 5th year and I deeply regret that Paul never had an opportunity to visit the Center. My best wishes to Carol and to Paul's family. He was indeed a wonderful person and will be missed.
