Peter Neyts Obituary

Peter F. Neyts 4/23/21 ~ 4/28/03  Loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Peter F. Neyts, age 82, died on April 28, 2003, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He was born on April 23, 1921 in Holland to Peter and Marie Neyts. He married Kryna Roelofs on May 8, 1940. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, and very involved at his Senior Center. Pete was a forced prisoner of war in World War II and immigrated to the States in l952 where he became a citizen in l959. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, daughter Mary (Robert) Morstad, son John (Kathy) Neyts, four grandchildren, Kim Cage, Scott Mayfield, Eric Neyts, Amy Patillo, and eight great-grandchildren. Pete will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, May 2, 2003, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.

We were sadden by the loss of Pete. We loved and will miss him. We will forever charish the fun times we shared.
