Ralph Morrison Obituary
DELTA- Ralph Wellington Morrison, Jr., age 70, passed away August 11, 2002 in Delta of cancer. Born June 10, 1932 in Delta to Ralph Wellington and Callie Marie Clark Morrison. Raised in Delta. Delta High School Graduate. Attended U of U and Westminster, where he met and married Joy Grace Brown on June 10, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lived a short time in Salt Lake City and California, (enjoyed working at Disneyland), moved to Delta to farm and raise their family. Retired from farming 1977 due to health problems. Enjoyed spending time with family, meeting people, traveling, golfing, winter home at Beaver Dam, Arizona. Last 19 years was active in Alcoholics Anonymous, and working with others in the program. Survived by wife: Joy, Delta; Children: Suzanne Folsom, Ray Morrison, both St. George; Jeff (Bobbie) Morrison, Cedar City; six grandchildren. brother: Willis C. (Charlotte) Morrison, Delta. Will be greatly missed by family and many friends. Funeral services Friday August 16, 2002, 11 a.m., Delta Community Presbyterian Church. Friends call at Nickle Mortuary on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment Delta Cemetery.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Joy ... The true measure of a personality is the effect that is felt after meeting someone. We had only one opportunity to meet you and Ralph, in St. George in May. The presence that you two had was a warm and genuine feeling of love and happiness. We feel blessed to have had the privilege of sharing a day with the two of you.
Thank you for your example of love and caring. May God bless you and your family now and always.

I remember growing up long ago with Ralph on "Silk Stocking Row" in Delta.I remember the Gardners,Underhills,Laws,Knoxes, etc.I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
