Ralph Morrison Obituary
February 22, 1959 - January 6, 2025
Ralph Evans Morrison – beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend – passed away January 6, 2025, in Salt Lake City at age 65 from complications following surgery. Born in Salt Lake City to Richard Lee and Carol Evans Morrison on February 22, 1959, Ralph was the youngest of five children and was enthusiastically welcomed into the family. His personable and inquisitive nature endeared him to family and friends throughout his life. Ralph could strike up a conversation with anyone anywhere and was quick with thoughtful questions and insights.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 17, at 11 a.m. at the LDS Meetinghouse, 2702 E. Evergreen Avenue, Millcreek, UT 84109. A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service, and at the church Thursday, January 16, from 6-8 p.m. Burial at Holladay Cemetery. In Ralph's honor, reach out to an old friend - hike a favorite trail - support your favorite thrift store - or play a game of chess.

Ralph was one of the most memorable athletes I had the privilege to coach. He was a gifted runner on our 1975 Olympus High School State Champion Cross Country team. Ralph was analytical about his races and always the first to encourage and congratulate his teammates after a practice or race. Later in life we both had downtown offices and met for lunch numerous times to rehash high school stories and get caught up on his family and other people we had in common. Ralph was just one, uncommonly good person, and I will miss him. My sincere love condolences to Ralph´s family and friends.

Dian, Jen.Ryan and Spencer...
Ralph was a positive force in my life.
From elementary and junior high, through fun memories during high school years and then as such a supportive dad throughout Girl Scout, Cubscout, soccer and preschool carpools.
My heart is with each of you. I will indeed take a hike, play chess with my grandkids and make a thrift store visit and feel grateful for his kind influence in my life.
