I have never met this wonderful man in person. Though I always wanted to. I stopped a few times at his building and knocked always hoping he might answer. Who was this mysterious man? The man who sparked my curiosity for years. The man who's beautiful sculptures lined the walk on State Street. One day I saw him on the news. I saw his creations as i listened to meaning behind them. The man who inspired me most in my art. A true legend in my eyes. Thank you for sharing him with this world. To Ralphael's Family I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you all.... May his art continue shine....

Ralph was one of the first members of Symphonic to ease me into a potential daunting situation. My best to the family.

Ralph was my dad's best friend all the years he rented space in his building for a barber shop, the Andrus Barber Shop. He helped my dad, Charley, on many occasions with all sorts of things. He was a true friend! He sculpted the business name as well at four men's heads and a barber pole on the front of the shop. He was so talented and I enjoyed touring the building with my family on many occasions. May he rest in peace knowing he had made this earth a better place for so many.

Grandpa was one of the most creative and interesting people. He was blessed with the ability to create in many mediums. He was always making something or building something. Give him five minutes and let him wander your yard and he will come back with a creation that looks like what you asked. Many people might not recall that he worked as an ambulance driver, something I found out after I had become a paramedic. He was an inventor and owned a patent for a nut that improved the sound of stringed instruments. He was hired to scuplt the lions for the Utah State capitol. My favorite memories of him are picking and eating Apricots, hanging out with him while he worked on the building and the times where he showed me how to draw or paint. He didn't like to travel so his visits meant so much to me, but most importantly I liked that he never turned down an opportunity to tell me about his life and teach me something, whether on a phone call or sitting on our porch.
