Randy Kennard Obituary

Randy Maurice Kennard Will Be Missed Celebrating the life of Randy Maurice Kennard, husband, father, big brother, uncle, and friend. On June 7, 2007 our wandering gypsy rover passed away in Blackpool, England on his last antique buying trip. Left behind are the love of his life Kellie, sweet daughter Rachel, and two sons Randy and Kenyon. His beloved daughter Rebecca was reunited with her father after a long and difficult absence. Also reunited were his much loved mother "Mamoo", his father Thomas A., and his brother Dennis. In addition he leaves behind his little sisters Melody and Tanya; his grandchildren Sadie, Lily, Jonathan, Kenyon, Seattle, Cindy, Gianni, Thomas, Matthew, Isaac, and Kelvin; as well as his daughters-in-law Gina and Marleny; and his former wife and friend Lori. He also leaves behind many, many other friends and family, both here and abroad, each of whom he loved dearly and whose relationships and friendships he rejoiced in having. His life, like the objects of his chosen profession, was filled with the beauty that only love, passion and the passage of time can impart. Like all of us, he suffered misfortune and sorrow at times, but in so doing helped us understand through his example and enthusiasm that ultimately these things are just reflections of the inherent goodness in life. We love you dad, brother, grandpa and friend. We will certainly not forget you. P.S. Dad. We are sure that you uncovered some "unbelievable" treasures this time; we'll just have to wait to hear the stories. Funeral Services will be held Mon., June 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 W. Center St. Family and friends may call Sunday, June 17, 2007 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary. 1941 No. Main St., across from Cherry Hill Water Park. (There will not be a viewing prior to services Monday morning.) Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com

Mark and Justine

July 13, 2007

Dear Kellie and Rachel, Randy was a very old and dear friend to Justine and I, we have had many great adventures together which I will treasure. I was privileged to be there in your hour of need to help and comfort each other. Randy will be sadly missed by all of us, his wonderful and funny stories will give us a chuckle from time to time when we are feeling a little depressed and lonely.
Sending you my best wishes and a great big hug.
God bless (my mate) Randy

Love from Mark and Justine and the boys.

Dear Rachel,
I am so sorry about your dad. I remember all the times when we were younger when we'de play at your house, and he would be there. He was a very nice man, and I'm sorry I never got to know him better. You are an amazing girl! I know you'll be strong during this terrible time in your life. And I am again sorry for your loss. I love you so much!

Dear Kellie and Rachel, I love ya'll and loved Randy. I don't have the words to tell you how sorry I am for our loss. In reading this guest book it does not surprise me that so many people loved him. There is truly a void in my heart for the loss of my brother and friend. I love you and I will always be here for you both. Melody, Randy's first little sister.

Dear Kellie and Rachel, I will remember Randy with affection - his laughter, his love of 'good' music, good food and above all, his love of people. My thoughts are with you and all your family.

Hi Folks,

We have expressed our profound sorrow verbally to Trish and Kenyon, to pass on to the family. I feel like I lost my brother! Randy's wonderful laughter and stories will be with me the rest of my life. Interestingly, our conversations over the years (more and more) have been more about your family, than antiques. He was so very proud of each of you. His love was most apparent....and will be fondly remembered by me. If I can ever be of service to your family, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'm sort of an honorary member anyway, according to Kenyon.

Much love to all.

Dear Dad,

I am so sorry for the early loss of your life, so far from home. Too many things were left unfinished and too many things that you looked forward to will miss your presence. Not an hour of a single day will go by that I will not miss you, terribly.

As I reflect upon your life I realize that, perhaps, above all else, you were a humanist---that is, a man who embraced a belief in the dignity and value of all mankind. All that you did in your life reflected this core trait. I inherited this belief from you and will see to it that your grandchildren are enculturated in its principles. And that they remember you forever.

Your son,
Kenyon

To Kelly, Rachel and all of Randy's Family.
Alex, Lawrence, Lulu and I were all very sad to learn that Randy had passed away. We all thought he was a lovely chap and always really interested in everything. He was a great guest and friend of my mum. He will be sorely missed.

For
R A N D Y

A true friend of mine has passed away,
An honest man is on his way,
He leaves behind a story to tell, one of wisdom, of kindness a real thick read.
A page turner, a classic, a novel off the shelf told by a man with a knowledge of wealth.
His passion was plenty, contagious & true
And needless to say, we more than miss you

A true friend of ours has passed away,
An honest man is on his way,
Our minds deceived, this sad news hard to take in the midst of his last adventure play.
but perhaps there's poetic justice it happened this way.
His passion was plenty, contagious & true
And needless to say, we more than miss you

A true friend indeed has passed away,
An honest man is on his way,
In God he trusted, in reuniting he believed.
His family his Devotion, his business his Passion, his adventures his Pride, his food his Little treat & in reuniting he believed
His passion was plenty, contagious & true
And needless to say,

God Bless You
