I will really miss Rich. When his Uncle Dale married me, I was about 7 years older he was 12 and I was 19. On Christmas at Grandma Nord's house he came over to me holding this big game box and ask me if I would play a game. He was smart and game player even back then. years later I was sorry I didn't play a game with him. He made the family light up to be around him. I know his Uncle Dale my husband,is with him in the spirit world and Rich is making him laugh. I can see them together having a wonderful time. Love Aunt Jan

Dear Family of Rich along with Marilyn and family, we are so sad to have lost Rich....he was unique and special in our lives. We have never had as much fun as we had going out to dinner with Rich and Marilyn, traveling, and game nights together! Rich, you made me want to be more of a gentleman by watching the kind attention, and courtesy you paid to Marilyn when we were all together! I have never had a bite of every item on a menu until we went to dinner with you! Your friendship was a gift that we will always treasure! We will keep watch on Marilyn for you until we meet again for more fun on the other side. Best of life to all of you! May the Lord bless you in the days ahead.

To the Nord Family,
I came to know Rich through church when I was in my early teens. He was very kind to me and Rich helped to provide me hope when I was struggling and I thank Rich and all of you for that. He had a good heart. God Bless Rich and his family.

Richard was so much fun to be with. I have fond memories of going for a ride and ending up in Moab in my Dad's Lincoln with 6 of our family members and Him and his wife piled inside a car that seated only 6 while listening to an Andy Williams 8 track and we played Lincoln Park over and over again. It was going to be too late to go back and we wanted to get a hotel but everything was sold out due to the Friendship Cruise on the river. Richard walked to a couple in a park we were at and asked if they knew where we could go to find a hotel and they said they could let us sleep at their church. It was a 7th day Adventist Church and they brought us blankets and pillows to sleep on the floor. This was one of a few trips our family went with him. He was always supportive of our family. I'm going to miss him! I think his family that has left before him are so happy to have him join them and having some great laughs of their lives they shared together.
