Salt Lake City, UT -It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of "Bob" Robert Michael Barnthouse on November 3, 2025. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be remembered for his quick wit, big smile, and unapologetic sense of humor. He had a knack for fixing anything with an engine. Bob spent many years as a salesman for Wheeler Machinery and found his greatest joy riding his Harley and dirt bikes, and was never far from a Coca-Cola and a cigarette. He is survived by his children James and Shona, their mother Angela Barnthouse, and his sister Janice Newman; preceded in death by his parents Barney and Carolyn Barnthouse, and his brother Jimmy, and sister Peggy.

Sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. The Barnthouse family shared walls both ours for over 35 years. We became close when our son Shawn became the flight instructor for James so he could achieve his goal of becoming a commercial pilot. Good job James!!! I hold the Barnthouse family family in the highest regards and can´t thank you enough for all the wonderful memories. May you receive the comfort that is so needed at this time
