When you take Bob Marshall in his full context, should you not wonder if all things are possible? What an incredible, beautiful life. I am certainly graced to have even known his story.

Debi and Chelsea,
I remember meeting Chelsea, you and Bob while coaching Chelsea in rec soccer 8-9 years ago. Since then I have always felt a warm and sincere greeting whenever our paths would cross in the community. We might visit for a minute or two and then be on our ways. I always felt a little happier after our chance meetings. Thank you for that! Please know I wish you, Chelsea and the rest of your family the very best in your lives.

Bob will always be near in our thoughts. Please know you always have been and will always be in our prayers. May God bless you all for never, never giving up. Love you all,

Dear Debi, Chelsea and Family,
We just heard about Bob's passing and would like to express our deepest sympathies. I met Bob at Mill Hollow 5 years ago. He was a volunteer Dad at camp with Chelsea. We went for a run and he told me about Debi's fight with Lymphoma. I was inspired to run for Team in Training in honor of Debi. But there was nothing more inspiring than seeing Bob running in the Boston Marathon! You are such an incredibile family and truly are heros to us! Keep dancing for us, Chelsea, and we'll keep running for you:)
With love- Wendy, Katarina and the Schmidt Family

The Springfield Holidome trip (NO ONE SLEPT), the parties, birthdays, our kids in their early years. He was a true community leader too.
Deb, I will be in touch. You are constantly in my prayers.

Dear Debi & Family--Carl and I wish to express our deep sorrow at the loss of Bob. We both remember with great fondness and gratitude how you welcomed us as next door neighbors and friends when we moved to Salt Lake in 1993. We've always admired how you both faced every challenge life gave you with grace and dignity. The way your whole family took care of each other during his illness is the greatest testimonial of all to the wonderful man and role model Bob was not only to his family and friends, but to the lives of all he touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Dear Debi, Chelsea and the rest of your wonderful family, I think about all of you just about every day, especially in this last difficult month. You all handled this with incredible grace, and allowed Bob the dignity to leave in his own way. Everything you did to help him in this way was the greatest gift you could have given him. I will never forget Bob or your family. Bob was a great guy and was so easy to talk to. He genuinely enjoyed talking to people and touched so many lives. Thank you for letting so many people into your lives...we are all enriched.

I was privileged enough to serve Bob here in Rehab at the U of U hospital. He was one of my favorite patients and I have often wondered how he was doing. I ran in the salt lake marathon last April and I saw Bob on the sideline, in his wheelchair cheering us on. What an amazing man and such a gentle spirit. I am glad for the brief time that I had to meet him. My prayers go out to Bob's family.

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
