Robert Timmerman Obituary

Robert William Timmerman Jr. "Wolf" Born November 13, 1952, Camp Roberts, CA to Robert Sr. and Verla Timmerman--passed peacefully surrounded by family August 9, 2006 due to complications of the blood disease Myelodisplastic Syndrome, which led to a Brain Aneurysm. Bob grew up in Holladay, Utah. He loved to ride his horse "clover" and play with friends and siblings in the open fields just off Spring Lane. He graduated from Olympus High School where he enjoyed playing sports and chasing girls. He got tired of chasing one special girl and fibbed on his age to get a date. The trick worked and he soon married Sheila Davis in the Salt Lake Temple on June 8th 1973. Bob graduated with a degree in art from the University of Utah. He enjoyed the works of other artists and loved to create his own masterpieces. Bob was just beginning to achieve his lifelong goal of becoming a rich and famous architect. The beautiful work of Timmerman Associates Architects can be found all over the west and lines the streets of the Salt Lake Valley. Bob was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in many callings. He was charitable beyond our knowledge. He treasured spending time with his family, eating ribs with good friends, watching movies with a bowl of puddin', and trying hard at golf. He loved and respected his friends, colleagues, clients, and employees. Bob is survived by his most precious wife Sheila (Davis), his loving kids Britney "Babe" (Randy) Schellhous, Robert "Little Bud" III (Marni), Candice "Bugs" (Michael) Baird, his parents Robert Sr. and Verla (Powell) siblings Terri, Tom, Randy, Tina, and Casey, and his grandchildren Merrsadeez "cuteness", "Bert", and others on the way. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 14th, 2006 at 12 noon in the Olympus Stake Center, 4500 South 2700 East. Friends and Family may visit at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 13th and on Monday from 10:30-11:30 at the Olympus Stake Center. Bob was a member of the Salt Lake Lions Club. The Family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Lions Club Eye Bank. Condolences may be made to the family at www.Jenkins-Soffe.com

I'm very sorry to hear about Bob. He was a joy to know in high school, always a class guy. Later, when his office was on 500 North I'd see him as he was leaving work and we had many enjoyable conversations. He will be missed.

Dear Timmerman Family,

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. I loved working with Bob while I was at A&K Railroad. He was the one professional I knew I could joke around with, and it was always okay. I left my position about 2 months ago, and I have missed him since leaving. I wish I could have given him a proper good-bye. He was a good man, and awesome at his profession! My prayers are with you all.
