Roger Beebe Obituary
West Valley City, UT-Roger Earl Beebe, loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and father to all those in need, passed away April 6, 2016 in West Valley, Utah. He was born February 5, 1955 in Reno, Nevada to David Phillip and Zola Lavon Briggs Beebe.
He married Karren Lea Miller on January 31, 1974 in Salt lake City, Utah. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1973 and proudly served 20 years retiring in 1993. While globetrotting around the world he impacted so many lives in a positive way. He was a wonderful husband who was unselfish beyond belief. He was a father figure to many friends and family members who were in need of a "DAD." He made sure that throughout his family's lives they always had what they needed to be successful. Roger was a wonderful example of giving and a "True Hero" to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Karren, his children Brian (Karen) Beebe, Stephanie (Brian) Thatcher, and Jennifer (Dayne) Lester; 10 grandchildren, Baileigh, Karsten, Brody, Kooper, Breegan, Brayden, Bransen, Brecken, BryLynn, and Kastin; his siblings Don (Charlotte), Robert (Kayleen), Bonnie Beebe, Alene Shepherd, Steve (Jackie), and sister-in-law Carollyn Beebe; also survived by Karren's siblings Neil (Kimmie) Miller, Kathy Eggertz, Larry (Marinda) Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents David and Zola Beebe, Karren's parents Acel and Thelma Miller, his brother David Beebe, sister-in-law Louise Miller, and brother-in-law, Scott Eggertz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 pm on Wednesday at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah and one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Interment to follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.

We want to give our condolences to the family. I am a 2nd cousin to Roger related through our great grandparents (Zola's side of the family). I knew Zola, David, Don, Bob and Bonnie. I am a close friend of Kayleen, Bob's wife. Kayleen and I were room mates when I introduced Kayleen and Bob and they later married. We also live in St. George area and get together with Bob and Kayleen. I didn't know Roger personally, but he sounds like a wonderful person. Our love to you.

Uncle Roger! Good soul!! Always fun to be around, so good and fun with my kids!! Best uncle to my wife growing up. Made the family gatherings so much more fun - He was the life of the party. Accepting, funny, kind, never spoke ill of others. Good, good man!!

I wish I could have thanked him. Roger made work fun. He encouraged me to become more involved in what he was doing. It helped me to figure out my career path.
He was definitely a great influence in my life in the short time that I knew him.

It's to bad there aren't more people in this world like Roger. He worked constantly to make his family's life better. He is one of the best people whom you could have met. He was always helping my sister Kathy and any one else who need help, he was totally unselfish. He teased our mother endlessly, but he loved her always. I will miss him so much. Say hello to mom, dad, scott, louise and all of your family hug your mom for me. Miss you brother and carry your wings proudly. Love you. Karren I am so sorry for your loss, love you and your family.
