I had the pleasure of working with Ron at LeBoeuf for several years as a young attorney. Although I didn´t think I knew much, Ron always appreciated my effort and made me feel like I could become a good lawyer. It was a privilege to get to know him.

It is with sad regret that we note the passing of another vital member of the Salt Lake City community. For many years Ronald Rencher has served this city and state with a much needed voice of reason and common sense.
In my exposure, Ron taught the value of a two party system in the democratic process, and in a broader sense, he exhibited a disciplined educated tolerance for alternate viewpoints. Among my deepest regrets is that I didn't thank him enough. Ron Rencher was a valiant politician, legal mind, civic leader, neighbor and family father. Once again, thank you.

I send my deepest condolences and sympathy to the Ron Rencher family. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.
My family lived next door to the busy Rencher family in Ogden. Mom and Dad, Jack and Dee Lyon, greatly respected them. Dad always thought very highly of Ron. To learn all of Ron's accomplishments and service to mankind only cements how right my parents were. We were so fortunate to have him as our next door neighbor and to know him as a friend.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all.
