I went to school and was an alter boy at St. Olaf´s. Father Daz was a good priest, kind man and a good example for so many. I can say my life is richer for having known him. God bless you Father Daz. Thank you for everything you did for so many people.

Many years ago Father Daz brought me into the Catholic Church. I was baptized and received Holy Communion on Holy Saturday 1965 in St Patrick´s Church, Salt Lake City. Father Daz thoroughly and individually catechized me after school for almost two years . Thanks be to God I am a grandmother with five Catholic grandchildren. I left Utah many years ago and I often thank God for Father´s leading me and my family into the beauty of Catholicism. Rest in Peace, Father Daz!

Father Daz's (in 1977) first Sunday Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in West Jordan was also my first Mass there, just before we moved to Utah.
He was a good man and pastor and friend. God help him, bless him, keep him and love him.

Father Daz was a very kind, patient and humble person. I know because he endured mine and my cousin's bad behavior at St Patrick Church in Eureka, Utah for many years. I did have the honor of assisting him as an altar boy and remember walking to church in the dead of winter during my 8th grade year in Eureka. Rest in Peace Monsigure Daz.
