1950 ~ 2025
Sharon Jackson 74, a devout catholic, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025.
She was born on December 23, 1950 in Standardville, Utah to Robert Menzies and Pearl Jensen.
She attended and graduated from Carbon high school then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and married Bart Jackson. They built a life together for 51 years having two wonderful and hard-working sons. Sharon was an avid gardener and had the envy of so many with her beautiful flowers. She also had a special connection with animals, especially her sweet Chelsea and couldn't pass by any animal without giving it love and attention. She loved her family and was so devoted to them, but her true joy was her grandsons. She was the grandmother that got on the floor and played trucks games of all kinds and was so loving and patient with them. She had them in her arms at every opportunity to dance with them squeeze and kiss them. She will be sorely missed by many.
She is survived by her two loving and devoted sons Bret (Robin), of South Jordan, Utah, and Brandon, of St. George, Utah, her three grandsons Cole, Cameron and Jayden, along with two brothers and three sisters, of which one was her twin with a special connection that they always shared. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bart and her parents.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Anderson and Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper followed by a graveside prayer at Crescent Cemetery located at 11105 South State St., Sandy, Utah. A luncheon will be held after the graveside service back at the mortuary.
A special thank you to the staff at Highland Care Center and the loved ones who supported her and stayed by her side for countless hours.
