Sharon Kimball Obituary
Our dear wife and mother left this life on Saturday morning with her husband of 45 years by her side.
Sharon was born in Long Beach, CA to Bill M. and Liberty Bell Russell. She married Don H. Kimball, August 17, 1971; solemnized 10 years later in the Salt Lake Temple.
Sharon loved her family deeply and valued every minute she was able to spend with them. She was a nurturer and caretaker by nature. Because of the concern she showed for others, she was lovingly referred to as "Mama Chicken." She received a Bachelors degree in Sociology and a Masters degree in Education from the University of Utah.
Survived by her husband; children, Matthew R. Kimball, Lara (Mark) Stone, April (Tanner) Thomas; siblings, Jan Nunes, Pat Russell, Rebecca Russell; William (Trine) Russell; step granddaughters, Arianna and Ava Stone.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2nd, 11:00 am at the Kenwood 2nd Ward, 1765 E. 3080 So. Salt Lake City, with a gathering prior to services from 9:30 - 10:45 am. For on-line condolences visit www.premierfuneral.com.

I remember being present at your wedding so many years ago. It was such a beautiful event and Sherrie was such a lovely bride. I have watched your dear family grow and bloom over the years and thought how proud you two must have been.

Our sympathy to your family at this time of loss. I admired Sharon's intelligence and insights, and her devotion to her children. I am sad that I lost touch with her and didn't know she was ill. She always seemed without guile to me. I enjoyed our friendship.
