Spencer was known as a kind caring soul who had a smile that could light up a room the minute he walked in. He would give the shirt off his back and gave rides to anyone in need. He was crowned homecoming king and adored by anyone he came in contact with. He is most well-known for how competitive he was in sports during his life. Many of his accomplishments were in football from All-Team All-State in high school, he continued his football career at Dixie State University. He had various jobs that ranged from bail bondsman, wildland fire fighter, to schedule coordinator for Skywest and a cashier at KB Express; but the job he loved the most was being a father to his kids. He is their hero.
He is survived by his four kids Tegan (10), Talen (8), Kalayah (6), and Kalista (3) they live with their mother Kassie Nielsen in West Jordan, Utah; his brother Lawrence (Colette) Tafua, their children Maggielou (Chris) Harper and Donovan, of Portland, Oregon; his sisters' Tammy (Junior) Hunt, their child Mena, Sandy (Iao) Sefita their children Marlaynah (4) and Meilani (2), and his brother O'Brien (Grace) Tafua all of St. George, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, 12:00 pm at the Blooming Stake Center (1130 East Brigham Rd, St. George Utah). Interment will take place in Tonaquint Cemetery following the funeral services.

You will be missed. You were one of a kind in so many ways. We lost a great person. In such a horrible way. I will miss seeing your smile and getting your hugs. Rest in paradise.
