I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Stephen on the BYU-Idaho Center Project. He had such a marvelous impact on this project and helped accomplish what was felt by many to be impossible. His understanding, experience and leadership was greatly appreciated by all those associated with this marvelous project. I am grateful for his expertise and friendship. He will be missed. -Charles N. Andersen

Pat and Family,
I was so sorry to learn of the passing of your sweet husband Steve. He was such a wonderful person and I loved his smile. I know the pain you must be feeling. I have lost two husbands. I hope you can remember who I am. I worked with you in the RS Presidency with Kathy Russell. You are a great lady and I loved associating with you and your family.
May Heavenly Father's choicest blessing and comfort be with you.

Dear Pat, Heber, Ted and Doug,
Jan and I send our love and our sincere sympathy and condolences in the loss of one of the noble and great of our generation. Steve was both a builder of men and a builder who constructed with precision and integrity. His gentle and loving countenance will be missed in every circle of friends which were wide and varied. We will be out of the country and unable to attend the viewing or funeral service for Steve. We are grateful that Steve is surrounded by those who loved him in mortality and free from the physical trials he faced with faith and courage. We will miss him and send our love and our assurance that we will see him again.
Much love,
Craig and Jan Zwick

I was Steve's first companion when he arrived in the British Mission. We were housed in the Manor House next to the London Temple. He was a good missionary and a friend. I'm sorry we did not have contact after the mission, but I remember him well. If you give me an email address I will send you a copy of our Christmas card for 1958. Both of us are on bicycles at the London Temple.
