My heart goes out to your family. (Uncle) Steve was a wonderful person and gone much too soon. I remember him as being a very devoted husband to Jeri and father to his children. One of the most vivid memories I have of Steve was the first time that I met Tony and his sister at Grandpa and Grandmother Johns home at a family event. I recall Steve helping them get some food and was struck by how gentle, kind and loving he was to both of the children in the way he spoke with them and interacted with them. It was beautiful to see how engaged and connected he was as a parent and how much he loved and cherished his children.
