1959 ~ 2016
Salt Lake City, UT-Steven Omer Nilsson, age 56, passed away May 20, 2016. He was born on November 25, 1959 in Salt Lake City to Sven Osborne Nilsson and Dorothy Fay Hubbard as the 9th of 12 children. He was a graduate of Salt Lake Technical College in Auto Mechanics and worked for Wayne's Tires for the last 13 years. He was a member of the LDS church and loved the outdoors and classic muscle cars. He was a gentle soul and always willing to help others. He will be sorely missed and long remembered.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy Fay Hubbard; and siblings Ingrid (Dave), Greta, Linda (Lyle), Militza, Nathan (Edith), Valorie (John), Rhonda, Connie, David (Christine), Giselle and a myriad of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father and sister Vanessa.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 26, 2016 at 12:00pm at South Cottonwood Stake Center, 6180 Glen Oaks Dr. in Murray. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) and on Thursday from 11:00 - 11:45am at the church prior to the service.

Fay, I am sorry to hear of Steven's passing. I only recently found out he was your son. He had been our mechanic for years. He was the best. We will be at the morning viewing. Please know Jerry and I are here for you.
