Terry Swindle Obituary

Terry Robinson Swindle 1934 ~ 2004  Just for Sis, a stanza from one of her father's poems: "You're not alone tonight When down through the oneness of space, Is pouring the grace of God's thought and delight To each in his own little place." Dena Rae (Terry) was born March 10, 1934 to Ellis E. And Hattie Mulford Robinson in Vermilion, Sevier County, Utah. She spent her childhood spent in Torrey, Utah. She attended University of Mexico. She received degree from University of Utah. Worked as an insurance underwriter. She married Emil F. Swindle, July 16, 1960; later divorced. Survived by three children, all of Salt Lake City: Ellis, Jhana and Mark Swindle; brothers, Max E. Robinson, Richfield; Clay M. Robinson, West Jordan. Preceded in death by sister, Fae Elda; aunt, Elma Mulford Bracy; sister-in-law, Eve C. Robinson. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. At her request her ashes will be scattered over Black Bench in Torrey, Utah.

Terry will be missed by many. I knew Terry for years, and enjoyed her wonderful sense of humor. My prayers are with her family.

My prayers are with the family during this sad time. I worked with Terry as her assistant for awhile and got to know her well. She would always welcome me into her home for a visit. I will miss her.
