Walter Mories Obituary

Walter "Wally" Wayne Mories

1949-2025

Heber City, Utah-Born August 17, 1949, in Payson, Utah

Wally is lovingly remembered by his four children: Todd Wayne Mories, Christopher Lee Mories, Mindy (Mories) Baird, and Reagan (Mories) Evans.

He peacefully passed away on March 25, 2025, in Heber City, Utah. We wish to thank Sandy Duncan for thoughtful care for Wally over the past few years, for her dedication and for enabling him to remain in his home. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Heber Valley Hospital and Intermountain Hospice for their dedicated care during his final days.

Wally was a true friend to all who knew him. His warm, contagious smile brightened the lives of many.

He made his home in a cabin he built with his one true love, Paula Schaerrer Mories, whom he married on July 17, 1981. Wally had a deep love for the outdoors and spent his time fishing, camping, and enjoying nature. He will be remembered as a kind, caring soul-a devoted husband, father, and friend.

Wally will be deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held at the Provo City Cemetery on April 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
