Warren W. "Papa" Johnston

Warren W. Johnston "Papa" 1921 ~ 2005 Warren W. Johnston, 84 years old, died on July 11, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on March 11, 1921 in Bureau, Illinois to Alice Mae Glover and William A. Johnston. He married Margaret Havener on June 16, 1942. Warren served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1948. He enjoyed a long, productive career in Technical Management and Development. President of Biologics, Inc., manager at Kaman Sciences, both in Salt Lake City. Warren loved reading, writing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his son, Kevin (De Ann) Johnston, daughter, Becky (Bruce) Garfield; four grandchildren, Anthony, Amanda, Jennie, Aaron and three great-grandchildren. There are no scheduled services. In memoriam, the family suggests donations to the American Liver Foundation or the Salt Lake City Humane Society.
