WILLIAM CRUMP

William Dale Crump 1931 ~ 2010 William Dale Crump DDS, 78, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Oneida, NY passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Naples, Florida.He was born March 30, 1931 in Lark, Utah. He is the son of Clyde and Lavon Bagnell Crump. He graduated from Bingham High School in 1949 where he was active in all sports. He attended BYU and then served in the US Navy as a Dental Technician Second Class during the Korean Conflict. He earned both his Bachelor of Science Degree and his Doctor of Dental Science Degree from the University of Buffalo. He practiced dentistry in Oneida, New York. He served the community as President and Board Member of the Oneida School Board. He was also President and Board Member of the Oneida Tribe and served on numerous other civic organizations. In 1989 he was inducted into the Bingham High School Hall of Fame (Pay Dirt Club). His interests included playing golf, gardening, researching and writing histories. He was the author of a history of the Ideal Cut Glass Company of Canastota, New York. He took special interest in the company's diamond poinsettia patterns of cut glass. He is survived by his wife, Joyce of 56 years, a daughter, Debra (David) Hopkinson of Farmington, CT; two sons Brad (Bobi) Crump of Chapel Hills, NC; and Craig (Debbie) Crump of Kingston, NY; five grandchildren and two brothers Don (Joyce) Crump of Pleasant Grove, UT; and Cal (Gwen) Crump of Copperton, UT. A memorial service will be held in New York at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in the memory of Dale to the Michael J.
