WILLIAM McINTYRE Obituary

William Arthur McIntyre 1928 ~ 2011 William Arthur McIntyre was born on Sept. 12, 1928 in Sacramento, California. He passed away on July 18, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by many of his family and loved ones. He is now reunited with his eternal companion, Lovern Kimball, who passed away six years ago after 57 years of marriage. Bill was the Son of Arthur G. McIntyre and Sadie R. Hauskins and attended school in Sacramento until his enlistment in the United States Navy in 1945. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked for a period of time for the S.P. Railroad with his Father and then branched off into a business of his own. This business eventually took him to Visalia, California where he later found greater satisfaction in employment with Montgomery Ward Department Store where he was one of the top sales people in the State of California for several years. He worked in that capacity until his retirement. Bill was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bill was an avid bowler, participating in many professional tournaments and leagues and for many years was recognized as the top bowler in Visalia. Due to the declining health of his wife, Lovern, they moved to Salt Lake City and resided together for a time at the Atria Assisted living facility where their daughter Sharon was employed and could see to their care. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Sadie McIntyre, sister, Elsie Capel, and his three half brothers, Oscar, Ralph and Gordon Vilet. He is survived by his four children: Sharon Baty (Jeff) of Sandy, Utah, Leesa Wessel (Chris) and Janice Andrada of Visalia, California, William Jr. (Rika) of Japan, and his sister Loree Jerome of Sacramento, California. He is the loving grandfather of 16 and G-Grandfather of 17 children. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26 at the Lakeview Memorial Mortuary, 1640 East Lakeview Dr., Bountiful, Utah. There will be a viewing from 10:00 a.m. with a graveside service at 11 a.m.

Sharon and Family
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. It hurts when someone you love moves on. The Lord in his wisdom is watching over and loving you. How good to know that we will again be with those we love.
