Willie Medina Obituary
My Soulmate, Best Dad, Brother, Grandpa and Uncle left us July 5, 2017.
Willie worked hard so his family would have everything they wanted. He put everyone before himself.
Willie married his soulmate Laura on June 9, 1989. They were always together. He loved his family so much.
Willie leaves behind Laura, Nicolas, Stephanie, his grandkids, nieces and nephews. Brother Stanley, two sisters and two brothers and his best friend Boozer.
He was met by the love of his mom, dad and family.
A Vigil service will be held Monday, July 10th, 6:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at The Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary 372 East 100 South where friends may call from 6:00- 7:00 p.m. Committal Tuesday, July 11th, 11:30 am at Utah Veterans Memorial Park 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, UT.
No flowers, no suit just t shirts and jeans. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to his son.

Almost 2 years and life really sucks without you. We are doing ok but will never be the same. You would be so proud of Nicolas he has stepped up and he is just like you. Just know I love and miss you always. You are in my dreams nightly. Tell everyone I love them and give Boozer a hug. Till we see each other again. Love your ball and chain, bag of guts and wifey

Almost 2 months since you were taken away from me. Still so hard to live without you. I try not to cry as you would not want me to. Nicolas and I talk about you all the time. You would be more proud of him as he now is my rock. His birthday is coming up and of course he say just a another stinking day. I love and miss you. Alway will till I see you again.

20 days have passed and I still waiting for you to wall through the door. Yesterday hit me hard as i realized that you will never walk in the door. No more funny kisses no more hand made notes. There was not a day that I left your house with out smiling and laughing because of your jokes,you always made me feel at home, I can go on and on.. Willie was a dear man and always made me smile and laugh. We became old friends within moments of meeting and I always missed him when he was not at the Planetarium. I do hope he was greeted by St. Peter with a fist bump because that's the only way to greet Willie. My love and prayers for you Laura, and to your children and grandchildren. You were what made him happiest and all the dreams he told me he had for you will live on with your love.
