null Cruz Obituary

Mary Jane Cruz, born September 2, 1952, passed away on December 16, 2006. She was a beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend. Mary Jane was a native from San Antonio. She worked for Santa Rosa Home Health Care as a CNA. Mary Jane was loved by all her patients, and cared for them as if they were her own family. As her sister, I am blessed to have that gift from her and our beloved mother, Della Newton. My sister, Mary Jane, lived a Godly life. She walked and talked Jesus' mission in helping her fellow man. Mary Jane spent most of her life caring for others. She went out of her way to assist anyone in need. Mary Jane mothered all our children and guided them. As she enters our God's kingdom, she reminds us all to be mindful of loving each other every day. The family is forever grateful to the University Hospital, Christus Santa Rosa, kindred and Christus VNA for all their compassion. Our beloved Mary Jane and her generous spirit will be forever missed. However, her beautiful face and smile will always be remembered. You are at peace. Until we meet again. We love you. Survivors include her husband, Fernando Cruz; sister, Elvira "Cookie" Starin; and brothers, Richard, Ambrosio & LeRoy Camacho; nephews, Charles D. Villarreal, Angel, Randal, and David Camacho; nieces, Chastity A. Villarreal, Crystal. Starin; and Andrea and Ashley Camacho. Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Monday, December 18, 2006, from 1-9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
