ALBERT LEE JAMISON May 4, 1933 June 4, 2006 Albert Lee Jamison, 73, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2006, at his residence in Boerne, TX. He was born to David F. and Minnie Mabel (Perry) Jamison in Summerville, SC, on May 4, 1933. Mr. Jamison retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, he served one tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968-69. Before joining the Air Force, Mr. Jamison served in the United States Army from 1953-1956, including a tour of duty in Korea from 1953-1954. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for the Army at Fort Sam Houston. Overall he spent 30 years in military and federal service. He was a Master Mason, and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Military Order of Stars and Bars, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of St. Helena's Episcopal Church in Boerne, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, David F. and Minnie Mabel Jamison; his brother, William Perry Jamison; and his first wife Aileen (Davis) Jamison. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Jamison of Boerne; sister Margaret Jamison of Summerville, SC; sister-in-law Frances Jamison of Summerville, SC; stepson Clarence Scott of San Antonio, TX; step-grandson Brian Scott of San Antonio, TX; stepdaughters Laurie Barnett of Bella Vista, AR, Penny Byrnes of Lago Vista, TX, Debbie Nutt of Houston, Kathy Lopes of Melissa, TX, Mary Gomillion of Fair Oaks, TX; a stepson, Pat Abernathey of San Antonio; 10 step-grandchildren and 2 step-greatgrandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Porter Loring North. SERVICE TUESDAY JUNE 6, 2006 3:00 P.M. ST. HELENA'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH 410 MAIN, BOERNE, TX The Rev. David Newhart officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Mission Burial Park North, followed by services under the auspices of Kendall Masonic Lodge #897 A.F. and A.M.
