Ruth is preceded in death by two brothers, William McIntosh Baines, Jr. and John Collier Baines, her son, William Howard Bain, her first husband, William W. Bain, her aunt, Louise Crockett, and her second husband, Charles B. Malmberg. Ruth dedicated her life to family, homemaking and her church. She loved to cook, dance, and help people feel welcome at home wherever she lived. She lived her life with gentle grace and devotion to the needs of others. Toward the end of her life, she was free to enjoy herself in new ways, and left her daughters and grandson with a legacy of wonderful memories of her wit, kindness and gracious manner. The family is deeply grateful for Rene Willrich for her loving and devoted care of Ruth during the last six months of her life.
