Margaret W. Sydenham passed away on March 27, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 101. Margaret was born February 19, 1905 to Hugh and Gertrude Wilson in Aguilar, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brigadier General Henry R. Sydenham. She is survived by her daughters: Lilyan Stone and her husband Robert of Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J., Bobbe Tate and her husband Jack of Palm Springs CA., sons: Stanley Sydenham and his wife Carla of Salt Lake City, Utah and Ronald Sydenham of Estepona, Spain; 8 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1018 East Grayson Street, San Antonio, Texas 78208 at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Army Residence Community Health Care Center, Vista Care Hospice or St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Addresses are listed with funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home, Universal City, TX.
