Adolph De Salme Obituary
Adolph De Salme, Jr. was born on August 12, 1932 in San Antonio, TX to Adolph Joseph and Sophia Arnold De Salme and entered into eternal peace on January 07, 2009 at the age of 76. Mr. De Salme proudly served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and vacationing with his children and grandchildren. He is a lifetime member of the Alamo Bass Club and a devoted member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judith De Salme; children, Jerome De Salme, Denise Perry, Diane Leatherwood, Debora Moore, Darlene Narvaez, and Joseph De Salme; 7 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2009 at Roy Akers-Zizik Kearns Funeral Chapels with a 7:00 pm Rosary. Family will receive friends at the church starting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers are Charles Leatherwood, Brad Moore, Cruz Narvaez, Allen Perry, Thomas Potter, and Michael Morkovsky. In Lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Attn: Tribute Dept. 501 St. Judes's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
