Agustina Torres Obituary
Agustina ("Tina") Alma Villarreal Torres was born at home in San Manuel, Texas. She was the fourth child born to Jesus and Leonor Villarreal and enjoyed fond memories of growing up on the family ranch in south Texas. Tina attended Pan American University in Edinburg, Business College in McAllen, and Incarnate Word College in San Antonio. She worked as a teacher's aide in the Harlandale Independent School District for many years. She was particularly passionate about working with special education students. Tina was a beloved cook and baker, leaving her family with many memories of her homemade sugar tortillas and birthday cakes. Tina is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rodolfo, Sr.; son, Rodolfo, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Anna; and five grandchildren, Sofia, Paloma, Olivia, Mariano and Diego. She is also survived by her sister, Irma Vallejo, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Thelma and Julieta, and brothers, Jesus, Jr. and Romeo. The family would like to thank Dr. Ricardo Castillo, Dr. David Marks, and other providers with CIMA Hospice and Helen Trowsdale and caregivers from AA Care Services. Mr.Torres,I'm sorry to hear of your loss.I remember you both.This is Fred Garza and I used to mow you'r yard on oakleaf st.it seem's like yesterday though it's been many years,mrs.torres was a very nice lady.Carmen and I sometimes drive by you'r prior address and remember you guy's.Your still in our thoughts and now in our prayers.Have a happy easter Mr.torres and once again you have our deepest sympathy.
