Albert Dirmeier Obituary

October 27, 1923 - December 1, 2015
Albert Joseph Dirmeier, a loving father and devoted husband, was born October 27, 1923 and passed away on December 1, 2015 at the age of 92. He met his beloved wife Vivian at a St. Patrick's Dance and they were married 65 years when she preceded him in death. Mr. Dirmeier and wife loved dancing and the family looked forward to Sunday gatherings and will cherish the memories made during those times. He was the co-owner of Dirmeier Feed and Mill, and later retired from the Texas Highway Department after 20 years of service. He is preceded in death by two sons and one daughter. Survivors include children: Donna Somers, Cathy Dirmeier, Ronald Dirmeier and Kevin Dirmeier; sister, Lillian Friesenhahn; 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, all of whom he shared unconditional love for. Visitation will begin on Thursday, December 10, at 4:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission San Jose Catholic Church with Interment at Mission Burial Park South.
