Alyssa Salazar Obituary
Alyssa Marie Salazar born on October 6, 1990 went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2016 at the age of 26. Alyssa is preceded in death by her grandmother Mercedes E. Villanueva. Survivors include her loving daughter Aubrey Jade Vargas, beloved mother Janie Juarez Martinez who never left her side and step-dad Jason Martinez, siblings: Andi Renai Jimenez (Steven), Andrew Joseph Rodriguez and Julio C. Salazar Jr., step-brother and sister Brandy Rodriguez, Darrin Martinez and Ariel Zotz, companion Moses Vargas and his sons Josh and Jordon, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. During her days here with us she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends and gave us a lifetime of love and memories. Alyssa will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A Special Thank you to Dr. Georgia McCann and her wonderful staff at UHSA and to the community for all their compassion, love and support.
Visitation will begin on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.

My Precious Angel in heaven. Know that we miss you everyday! I visit you and your reunited love Brandan all the time. I sit and talk to both of you. I think of your last 3 days when you mentioned if you would see Brandan and I said YES. You smiled and cried and said you couldn't wait. I wish I knew what life is with you in heaven. Dancing, Brandan carrying you over his shoulder, tickling you when you hated it. So much emotion goes through my mind. Keep guiding us and watch over your Aubrey Jade. I love you!
