Angelina Tejeda Obituary

February 25, 1934 - January 5, 2019
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister Angelina Castaño Tejeda joined the Lord on January 5, 2019, at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by parents Angel and Soledad Castaño, sister Carolina Castaño, brothers Alejandro and Valdemar Castaño and son Victor Tejeda.

Survived by loving husband of 66 years, Jesus Y. Tejeda, Jr.; sons Ruben C. Tejeda, Edmond C. Tejeda, Jesus C. Tejeda and Michael C. Tejeda and brother Angel Castaño.

She attended Harlandale ISD schools and worked at Patio Foods, and found her passion helping her family and community. Her legendary potato salad made fundraising efforts successful for politicians, churches, schools and sport teams alike, her chorizito con huevo tacos made grandma's house home.

You will be missed dearly Tia. I always admired your strength as a wife, mom and grandmother. You humbly gave to others graciously, always with a smile and expected nothing in return. We were all blessed by your presence in our life and you will always hold a special place in my heart.

My sincere condolences to my Tio Jesse, Reuben, Edmond, Bebe (Jesse) and Michael;as well as their families.

May you forever rest in peace.
