Dear Granieri family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We will remember Tony for his love of family, the land, his many friends, and nature in general. We will miss his beautiful smile, the twinkle in his eyes, his stories, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. He was a gifted farmer, horse trainer, and a dear friend. Heaven must have needed a very special person to tend its gardens.
With all our love,
David, Anne Marie, Emily and Will Larsen

My father Robert and Aunts Lily, Theresa, Constance and Uncle Louis all loved their cousin Anthony like a brother. Anthony was a kind, loving and gentle soul. I recall many tales of week end visits and summer vacations on the Granieri farm. They all admired Anthony's courage and hard work in continuing the family farm. We all enjoyed the beautiful vistas, realizing it took Anthony's talent and hard work to maintain its beauty. I hope your grief will fade and you will be comforted by loving memories. I know that Anthony is looking down at all of us from Heaven.

And a great farmer he was…for land that the city deemed as flood lands he cultivated the sweetest fruit and the most robust crop of vegetables ~he never gave up. He could catch a fish in a dry creek bed; he could train a full grown horse to bow down to him and to dance. It was a true labor of love, love for the land and his strong love and commitment to his family. To all the Granieri family, you have my sincerest condolences. Allow all those precious memories to fill your heart during this difficult time!
May he rest in peace.
