Antonio Juarez Obituary
Antonio C. Juarez, Jr. "Nony" born June 12, 1979, went into the loving arms of the Lord on May 18, 2013, at the age of 33. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Andres C. Juarez, his grandfather Antonio Contreras, and his uncle Benito O. Juarez. He is loved and will be missed by his parents Antonio and Maria Juarez, siblings Estacy I. Juarez and James E. Juarez, paternal grandmother Paula O. Juarez and maternal grandmother Anselma L. Contreras as well as by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Our beloved "Nony" was a fun living guy with an amazing sense of humor. He had a passion for staying active; playing sports such as volleyball, softball, running and was a certified black belt in karate. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Visitation will begin Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 5pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10:30am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.

Tony and I worked together at Santa Rosa. I loved him he was funny and always happy. We had a running joke between us. He always would say that he could enter the Army as a Green Beret, I would laught and tease him back saying that he couldn't even be a Girl Scout Green Beret. Whenever he would see my office number on his caller ID at work He would answer the phone and imitate me in a high pitched voice. I've missed him since I moved away. He is very special to me. You are in my prayers. I'm sorry for your loss.

I got to know “Nony” through his aunt Carmen who is married to my brother Paul Solis and over the many years during family parities and gatherings he always had a smile on his face and brought a positive spirit to the room. He always treated my wife Molly and I like family and a year ago he invited us to be one of his guests at a wedding being held at The Swanderosa estate which we were honored to attend as his friends. I am sorry we never took him up on the offers to go tube the river with him and his friends because we missed out on what would have been a great experience with a great person.
They say that the true character of a person sometimes comes after they leave this earth and people start sharing their stories and based on what I have read, heard and experienced myself, we definitely lost one of good guys.......
To the Juarez and Contreras family my heart hurts knowing you are going through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and hope you find peace knowing he is in heaven doing great things.

Tony, I'm not surprised by the amount of people that are also in shock over you leaving. This place will never be the same without you. The people that you have touched including myself, shows the testimony of your journeys and the soul that you carried.
