Arnold Villarreal Obituary

VILLARREAL
Arnold Villarreal
Our beloved brother Arnold Villarreal entered into his eternal rest on September 6, 2009. Our lord Jesus, shared you with us for 53 precious years. He allowed us to enjoy your smile, laughter, and sense of humor. Arnold will be greatly missed and his memory will be carried on by his beloved family and friends for the rest of their lives. Arnold was a devoted employee of the City of San Antonio and retired after 20 years of faithful service. He loved the outdoors and hunting but his children were his greatest joy. Arnold is preceded in death by his father Antonio Villarreal and is survived by his wife Virginia Villarreal, mother Nelly Villarreal, sons Keith and Arnold Adam Villarreal, daughters Leslie, Alexis, and Celeste Villarreal, brothers Pete, Tony, and Joey Villarreal, sisters Mary Fernandez and Sonia Villarreal. Three grandchildren Brittany Lopez, Keith Villarreal Jr., and Trinity Villarreal. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday September 10, 2009 and a rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. A mass will be held on Friday September 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2. Services courtesy of:

October 9, 2009

I had the opportunity to meet Arnold through a true dear friend of his. I became very fond of him within minutes of meeting him. His personality just shined right through his laughter and smile..... I am sure he is missed by all and was there for all his friends and family.

October 5, 2009

Arnold was a great person, full of laughter and life. His children were his everything. He always made time for his friends as well, I had the honor of being one of them. He was always there to listen. I will miss seeing him at the food booths. He always wanted to make funnel cakes in the shape of texas and be known for that. He didnt need any props, he was known for his wonderful smile and heart. I will miss him very very much and i will NEVER forget him or what he meant to me.

October 5, 2009

Arnold was loved by many and will be sorely missed. He loved his children dearly and was there for them when they needed him. I pray that God gives comfort to Leslie, Keith, Adam, Alexis and his beautiful angel Celeste.

Arnold, If there was one last thing to say to you it would be "thank you". You were a Man of strength and wisdom & had a heart of gold. You were never judgemental and always open to accept life as it came. I know you are going to be missed so much by so many. You have touched not only my heart, but the hearts of my four children. You were "Grandpa" in their eyes and we loved you for accepting us as a part of your family.
To the Villarreal Family, I pray that God continues to give us strength and helps us all through our heartache & loss.
God Bless.

Arnold was a wonderful man, and was ALWAYS there for me when I needed him. He always made me laugh so hard that I'd wanna cry. I will miss my friend dearly and he taught me that life is short and to live it to the fullest! And he lived his life to the fullest, he had a smile that would light up a room. I'm glad I had the oppurtunity to meet such a loving wonderful man. Heaven get ready for the party cause here he comes.
