August Hartmann Obituary

August H. Hartmann, longtime resident of Wilson County, entered into rest Saturday, July 19, 2003 at the age of 76. Mr. Hartmann is survived by his children, Clarence Hartmann and wife Joyce of LaVernia, Allen Hartmann and wife Joan, Carolyn Pawlik and husband Gilbert, Sharon Janek and husband Benny, Patty Baird and husband Rufus, and Marilyn King and husband Steve, all of Floresville; loving companion of seven years, Delia Lohse of Skidmore; sister, Lorene Dismuke of Victoria; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, two brothers-in-law and numerous sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene Kotzur Hartmann and siblings, Emil, Elmore, and Milton Hartmann, Agnes Kirk, Ida Frieda, Irma Ortmann, and Hilda Hartmann. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 21, 2003, in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel, Floresville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 22, 2003, in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel, Floresville. Interment will follow in the Floresville City Cemetery, Floresville, TX.
