Barbara Burton Obituary
Barbara M. Burton went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Mrs. Burton was born in Christine, Texas to Peter and Cordelia Hilburn. Mrs. Burton lived her life in San Antonio Texas till moving to Conroe Texas in 1990 and lived her remaining life in Conroe Texas with her daughter Peggy and her husband Joe Alvarado. She was a loving mother and grandmother and lived a long good life. She was a giving woman to her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all her family and will be loved always. Her grandchildren were her life, Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her sisters Hazel George and Lillian Moon and brothers J.C. Hilburn, Herman Ray, Sherman Roy. Survivors include daughters Barbra Cordes and Jody and Peggy Alvarado and her husband Joe; brothers Tommy Hilburn, Bobby Hilburn, Dale Hilburn and Richard Hilburn. Grandchildren Annette and her husband Ed Broll, Tina and her husband Russell Howard, Jenny and her husband Todd Mullen, Donnie, Stephen, Edward, Stephani, Peyton. Visitation will be held from 11:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, with a graveside service to follow at 3:30 at Mission Burial Park South.
