Bertha Medrano Obituary
Bertha O. Medrano, age 71, went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Medrano Jr. and daughter, Bertha A. Medrano. She is survived by her children, Annie Mena and husband Andrew, Jorge Medrano and wife Magdalen, Carlos Medrano, Guillermo Medrano and wife Beatrice; grandchildren, Jaclyn and Jasmine Ibarra, Italia, Sarah, Yasmeen, Michael and Christian Medrano; brother, Leonardo Ortiz and wife Vicki; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road, Monday, December 28, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. The procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 for a 10:00 A.M. service at Maranatha Asambleas De Dios Church, with Pastor Dora Reyes officiating. Grandma, I know when you left Christmas night I told you goodbye and that I love you. I didnt know that would be the last time. You told me that Jesus loves you and that he always takes care of you so I know that the last few moments here on earth were peaceful for you. I dont fear for you because you put your faith in the Lord and you are where you would want to be if it was not here with us. I will miss you so much but I will remember all the good times to keep me positive til we see each other again. I love you Grandma.
