Bianca Ambriz Obituary

BIANCA ELISE AMBRIZ
January 24, 2025
With immense sadness, we announce Bianca Elise Ambriz was sent to her eternal home in heaven on the morning of January 24, 2025, surrounded by family and friends, ending her courageous fight with cancer.
Bianca was born on November 25, 1981 in San Antonio, TX. From a very early age, Bianca, affectionately known by her friends as "Binx," could regularly be found atop one of God's greatest gifts to mankind: horses. It was through these magnificent creatures that Bianca found strength, serenity, and most importantly, healing.
A resident of Poteet, TX, she found her tribe and cultivated a community participating in Rodeo. A passion for western culture, athleticism, and devotion to horsemanship, established her identity as a true cow-girl. Countless testimonies, both personal and professional, can attest to her indomitable spirit and her legacy of hard work, respect, and dedication.
Bianca was widely known for her devotion to enjoyment, fearlessness, and an unbelievable fierceness. From family barbecues to trips to Mexico to nights spent with friends by a bonfire, her fun-loving attitude rippled through the space like a wave of violet, offering an amalgamation of love and play.
As a wife and mother, Bianca's resilience and can-do attitude redefined the title of homemaker. In her free time, Bianca could be found doing spontaneous construction projects, providing full-time care for a team of horses, or cooking a delicious meal-with legendary skills both in the kitchen and on the grill. She was truly a woman who could do it all and embodied the "Superwoman" title throughout her lifetime.
Bianca meant a lot to those who worked with her. A creature of habit, Bianca consistently clocked into work at 6:30AM, both in-person and when working from home. She was licensed in the security industry of her bank, a challenging accomplishment in her field. Her natural ability to comprehend complex procedures led her to understand the systems inside and out, and made her a go-to person to mend any issues brought to her team by a client. Her command over her skillset, mixed with her ability to speak truth to power, made her a major asset, mentor, and friend. Her work family share fond memories of her showing videos of her beautiful daughter, Julia, and her precious miniature Australian Shepard, Slider, remembering the pride she had for those she loved most.
Having passed one day before her grandfather, Joe J. Bernal, and two days before her grandmother Elida Hernandez, she was preceded in death by her Grandparents Candelaria Peña, Mary-Esther Bernal, and Michael & Josefa Willingham; Uncle Bernard Bernal; and Aunts Alicia Alvarez, Zonia Alvarez, and Alma Willingham.
She is survived by her husband, Justin Ambriz; daughter, Julia Ann McDonald; Parents Elisa & Patrick Bernal, and George & Judith Willingham; Siblings George II, Michael, Carlos, Gabriel, Jeremy, and Jacqueline; Grandmother Frances Moya; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bianca surrendered to God's Holy hand with the firm belief "with God all things are possible." This nightly prayer emanated in severe illness, echoed by her husband and mother as they supported her through the dark cloud of disease, is carried on by those who loved her. Now heavy-hearted with grief, we pray for comfort and strength during this season of mourning.
To celebrate her amazing, beautiful spirit and the joy she brought into their lives, a service for Bianca Ambriz will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Cowboy Fellowship Church, 561 FM-3350, Jourdanton, TX 78026.
A Catholic service will be on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Mission Concepcion, 807 Mission Road, San Antonio, Texas 78210. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m., with a Rosary at 12:30 p.m. and the Memorial Mass at 1:00 p.m. Following mass, please come to lay Bianca Elise Ambriz to rest at Cordi-Marian Resurrection Cemetery, 11624 Culebra, #501 San Antonio, TX 78253.

Bianca was a beautiful quiet woman that walked tall, every time I'd see her at our work. She and another interviewed me into the NIC and that position changed my life and I'm grateful to her for seeing in me, the passion that I have for our company.
I love you B and will always be indebted to you my friend and sister. Be at peace and see you again in heaven

Bianca meant a lot to us who worked with her. I worked with her for over 10 years at Citi and she was great at what she did. Always at her desk or working from home by 6:30am. Sometimes when we both were in the office, she would bring breakfast tacos. It is because of her that I discovered a love for papa and chorizo.

Bianca was licensed in the security industry. Not a easy license to get but she had hers and used it well. She knew the systems inside and out. Anytime a client had an account issue, she would fix it right away. Some time she have to put on her Boss hat and get mad at us because we were screwing around at the office. Every once and a while she would stand right at my desk upset because she emailed me multiple times and I was not responding. She would say "CHINGADO!! don't you look at your emails???" She was a tough girl and I think that was one of the things I liked best about her.

She loved showing pictures of her pets or videos of her daughter riding horses. The two things she loved the most. She kept reminding me her daughter Julia was attending A&M. She was a very proud mom.

Bianca was beautiful and very caring. She was more than just a coworker. She was my partner and I truly miss working with her. She was a major asset to the company. She was my friend. I picture her right now in heaven taking care of the horses. Rest in Peace my Friend.

You definitely left too soon. Those walks with you, Ike, Barbara, and Diana killed my legs but you were the cheerleader getting us out there. Thank you for that. May you rest in peace.

Bianca was a great person to work with at Citi. She taught me so much about this business and I have used all her advise to make my work easier. aside from being a coworker she was a great friend and great mother and overall a beautiful person. The enormity of her loss cannot be described. That cowgirl is in heaven shining down upon us and always will be. Bianca we will sorely miss you and you will always be in our hearts. Love you my friend!
