Bruce was a good friend of mine along with my brother, David. We shared many adventures and his early passing was a tremendous loss for us all. Coming up on 49 years. Hard to believe. No worries. We´ll meet again. Take care man.

Bruce was my cousin (my dad and his mom were twins). I have such fond memories of him. When I was young, I looked up to him like a big brother. He was so funny and kind to me. I´ll never forget how devastating his loss was to the family. I´ve been a high school teacher for 29 years, and I´ve made sure to keep his legacy alive by telling his story to my students. He was a hero and a role model to me and everyone else who knew him. We all miss and love you, Bruce.

To the Osborne family, Bruce was a classmate of mine at Lee. He touched many lives at school. He had a great smile and we were very proud of his athletic accomplishments. Please know that I have thought about Bruce many times over the years. He is not forgotten. Linda Coles Cook

Your life may have left us all too soon, but your memory has lived in our hearts and minds for 40 years and will continue. This tribute is such a blessing for Bruce and the wonderful life he lived. His since of humor was wonderful. He was full of life and ambition. His purpose in life may have been to leave us all with a greater sense of mortality along with the greatness he displayed in sports. Our memories are constant reminders. I hope this tribute helps Bruce's family realize how much he was truly loved by friends and family. Wow, 40 years is hard to believe, it seems like yesterday.

My memories of Bruce include our days of running playground foot races at Ridgeview Elementary. Bruce would usually win, but he would shake your hand and say,"good run". Bruce will remain in our good old memories and a part of our hearts. God Bless, Jeff Thornell

Bruce was in my Latin class in 1975...& I remember our teacher, Ms. Cook bringing in the clippings from the paper highlighting Bruce's successes on the football field each week. He was such a nice kid...& everyone began to notice his special gifts playing football. Bruce's untimely death made a profound affect on so many classmates' lives. Our thoughts an prayers are with the family and many friends....and we will always remember Bruce!

Bruce was such a sweet, talented young man who was taken too soon. So many of his classmates are reliving this tragic night 40 years ago. To his family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bruce was a dear friend of mine. One of the kindest, funniest boys I knew in school. He is often remembered in conversations with old school friends. We still miss you and remember you fondly...
