Carl Frank Schneider, Jr., age 71, passed away on December 12, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 18, 1950, to Carl Frank Schneider Sr. and Evelyn Frances (Bland) Schneider.
Carl attended Antonian College Preparatory High School in San Antonio graduating in the class of 1968. Following high school, Carl attended Texas A&M University as a member of the Corps of Cadets and graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1972.
Following college, Carl joined the United States Air Force serving as a B-52 pilot and attaining the rank of Captain.
In 1977, Carl began working in the Oil & Gas Industry as a Petroleum Engineer. In 1982, Carl and his family moved to Oklahoma where he lived and worked until moving to Louisiana in 2010 to continue working in the Oil & Gas industry.
Throughout his life Carl enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a voracious consumer of knowledge constantly researching and reading on topics of interest.
Carl was known to mentor younger colleagues throughout his career and will be missed dearly by his friends and colleagues at Gly-Tech Services Inc..
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Frank Schneider Sr., and his mother, Evelyn Frances (Bland) Schneider. Carl is survived by his daughters, Allison Baggott (Sean) and Lindsay DeLong (Jeffrey); grandchildren Emma, Jackson, and Henry DeLong; brothers Robert and Patrick; and nephews Todd and Brett Schneider.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and social workers at the VA Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana for such excellent and supportive care of Carl in his final weeks.

Our deepest condolences to all of Carl´s family at this sad time.
Pat, we were very sad to hear of his passing and send our prayers, understanding and deepest sympathies during this difficult time.
We hold fond memories of Carl as a young boy ...
So many years ago,....
when the Schneider clan held our annual reunions at Raymond Russell Park. What fun we had!
