Charles Jones Obituary

Charles R. "Chuck" Jones
June 3, 1955 - January 16, 2024
Charles R. "Chuck" Jones, beloved husband, father, and grandfather died early morning January 16, 2024 at his home in Hollywood Park, San Antonio TX. Chuck was born on June 3, 1955 in San Antonio, TX to Ralph Williams, Sr. and Lydia Ethel Moore. He attended Lee High School, Class of 1974, and San Antonio College. In 1980, he married Jean "JJ" Vetters at San Pedro Presbyterian Church. They welcomed one daughter in 1985, and twin daughters in 1989. After years of vocational experience, he founded Jones Industrial Components in 1996, which he ran until his passing.

Chuck was the "life of the party" and had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed watching his daughters perform in numerous community, high school and college musical theater and opera programs, even though they were not his favorite form of entertainment. Chuck loved playing with his grandchildren, and pets.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Jean, his daughters: Kristina Jones, Allie Danso, Kara Jones, and his grandchildren: Edward Bowen Tindol, Emmerson Danso, Kweku Danso, and Violetta Cabrera (due April 2024). He is also survived by his sister Judy Grenrood and brother William "Billy" Jones, and 3 nieces Lisa, Alexis, and Kelly.
