Chester Waclawczyk Obituary
Chester John Waclawczyk went home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2017, at the age of 87. He was born in Falls City, TX to Harry & Gertrude Waclawczyk on March 12, 1930. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Frances, and sister Lillie Moczygemba. He is survived by his current wife Lois Waclawczyk, three children Tim Waclawczyk (Barbara), Diane Waclawczyk, Debbie Kotara, three step-children Kellie Wiatrek (Leo), Steven Williams, Jeff Perkins, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Chester served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. He proudly worked for the U.S. Postal Service and retired after 31 years. Known by many, he will live on in memory.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 13, 2017, 5pm-9pm with a rosary to begin at 7pm. Funeral mass Saturday, October 14, 2017, beginning at 10am. Both services will be held at St. Gerard's Catholic Church 1523 Iowa St, San Antonio, TX 78203. Interment immediately to follow at St. Ann's Cemetery in Kosciusko, TX. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Gerard's Catholic Church.
