Concetta Marbach

1932 - 2025

Concetta Joanne Parigi Marbach passed away on December 13, 2025, in San Antonio at the age of 93. Born December 11, 1932, in Beaumont,TX to Sicilian immigrant John Sam Parigi and wife Stella Gloriosa. Connie graduated St. Anthony's High School, at age 16 and went on to attend Our Lady of The Lake University in San Antonio, where she met and married the love of her life Elgin Theodore Marbach of Converse,TX. They had a strong and loving marriage for 67 years raising six children: Rose, Bob, John, Mark, Joann and Karen. Family togetherness was important to Connie and she enjoyed planning numerous family dinners and holiday gatherings where all were welcome. She taught piano lessons, volunteered with the PTA, was an Eucharistic Minister, organist and CCD teacher for the church. She will be remembered for her exquisite piano playing, house full of family and fun, and Author of 7 books. Connie and Elgin traveled the world with their 6 Children and 13 Grandchildren. With them, as well as her 5 Great-Grandchildren, Connie strived to make every one of them feel special and loved. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and peace to all who mourn her passing. The memorial service honoring Connie's life will be at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in San Antonio on January 15th. Rosary begins at 11:00 followed by a mass and reception to honor Connie's exuberant Love of Life.
