Dear Crystal's Family,
Crystal's smile is radiant with love. I know that her heart was kind and generous because you have said so. I did not know her but I know and feel your loss to this dreaded illness. I lost my daughter, Carrie in February, 2008 just weeks before her 31st birthday to bi-polar. It controlled her life for almost 16 years. Now she is free and so is Crystal. I just read "90 Minutes in Heaven," by Reverend Don Piper. It is a first hand knowledge of a horrible wreck that he was in and how he went to Heaven and came back. It has set my heart at ease and let me know that Carrie is okay. Now I would like to think that Carrie was there waiting for Crystal to rejoice on her arrival! If you ever need someone to talk to just use my email and we can get in touch. Your daughter and mine resembled each other a lot. I was told by 2 friends about Crytal's picture and at first glance they thought it was Carrie. They were also both born in Houston!
I will be praying for you and your family. God Bless Our Beloved Daughters-Sisters in Christ

Hi Phillis, I was not aware of your beautiful daughter, Crystal passing away, until I spoke to Veronica. I was really affected by the news, so I decided to write to you as you are going through your grief and sorrow.
I want to share two thoughts with you and your family.
FIRST <> THAT SIDE OF HEAVEN.
We don't understand why people die at varying ages. Jesus calls our names. Crystal's name was called. I think that she was a Beautiful Flower in full bloom, and that Jesus needed another beautiful flower to make His garden even more beautiful.
Also Jesus needed that beautiful smile to bring additional sunshine to others. Many times we feel that we need God, and at times God needs us.
SECOND<> THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN
Phillis, I would say of Crystal what Juliet said of Romeo in the Shakespeare theatre arena.
"Give me Romeo, and when he shall die, take him and cut him in little stars, and he will make the face of heaven so fine that the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the glaring sun"
So, on a Crystal clear night you will see Crystal blessing you with her new glow. The heaven that we can see has now been enriched and is more meaningful.
Psalm 19 says that the Heavens declare the glory of God. Crystal was always part of God's creation, and now we continue to be blessed by her new beauty.
May God be with you, and that you may continue to be a blessing wherever you happen to be.

I also believe that God gave us these special children to love and take of until he calls them home. I have a daughter who is 23 diagnosed at age 14 years. She has struggled and it hurts us all to see it.
Crystal was a beautiful young lady. I know you miss her greatly but God will take care of her until he comes for us all. Mental illness is something a lot of people don't understand but we as mothers are also greatly impacted in our daily struggles with them as well as their siblings.
I will pray for you/family please call me if you want to 210 325 2464 if you need to talk.
Sincerely,
Marie

My condolescences for the mother of this young, beautiful girl. I was attracted by her beautiful smile.
May God bless you. I went through the exact same thing with my son at 21 years old over 2 years ago. Please know that God chose them to rest. They needed to be with him at peace. It is so painful to see them suffer, more painful than to see them go. Although I am a counselor, I could not help him, which is more frustrating. If you need someone to talk to, please call me. The Lord wants us to share our experiences. My son told me 2 weeks before that God had told him that he was going to take him in the next 2 weeks. This is why I have no doubt where he is.
He passed away in his sleep.
I am sure that that is where your child is too. May God Bless you and your family. Crystal is with the angels, believe me. (210-999-9121)
