ROPER
Dale Ray Roper was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on July 21, 1944. He went to the "Happy Package Store in the Sky" on April 17, 2012, after a battle with leukemia. Confucius said, "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life." That was Dale. He loved Mueller
Sports Medicine and his beloved, Curt Mueller. His pit
bulls (Max and Noella), golf,
horse racing, and sports were
his other passions. Of course, he loved his family, was proud of them, and would do anything for them within
reason that is due to his practical side. He played the
same lottery numbers for
years, and we will continue
playing them for him - in fact, 3
of his numbers were drawn
tonight. If he has any pull at all
with the BIG LOTTO GUY, I'm
sure his numbers will eventually be drawn. We love
and miss you so much - I can't
wait to see you again, my
hero, my love.

I just heard of Dale's passing. I am so sorry to learn this sad news. Dale was a breath of fresh air everytime I was in his presence. He was an old-school salesman that definitely knew his craft and other salespeople in the industry looked up to Dale because of his passion, work ethic and sheer enjoyment for what he did. He was true--blue. What a sad day. He will be missed. - John Miller (Icon Medical)

I am deeply saddened to have just learned of the passing of my friend Dale Roper. Dale and I shared the same title for competiting brands in the sports medicine industry, but that didn't keep us from fast becoming good friends. I will forever be thankful for the way Dale treated me during my time in Texas. I always looked forward to seeing Dale and cutting up with him whether it be on the golf course or over a few cold beers. I cherish his friendship and will miss him dearly. Our industry won't be the same without him.
